Cafe Du Monde Re-Opens

In my mind, New Orleans is officially open for business. Cafe Du Monde, a New Orleans landmark for over 142 years, opened at 6 AM on Wednesday. Whether it was one of the many times I visited as a kid or the times I have tried to get over a hangover with beignets and chocolate milk, I've never been diappointed in a visit to Cafe Du Monde.

Once I hear that Johnny's Po-Boys, Camelia Grill, Acme Oyster Bar and Pat O's are open, my car may be headed south for the weekend. I can't wait for another Lucky Dog.
